Thank you so much for your email – we have been back to reality at work this week however we are just so happy to now finally be married and especially at Doxford Hall! I could not fault the day at all and the staff were absolutely amazing from the moment I woke up ’til the day I checked out so please extend thanks to all the staff working there. Doxford Hall Hotel and Spa was the most magical and unique wedding venue for our very special day. Doxford is surrounded by beautiful scenery, character and flair that adds true decadence to the hotel. The team at Doxford were 5*, they are extremely proactive, personalised and professional. They made our day absolute perfection. The dining is exceptional, the food is very high standard even on a very large scale and they maintain superb standards. The ballroom is by far my most favourite place with beautiful high ceilings, crisp style, very spacious and amazing character. Every room is bursting with character, style and class. We fell in love with Doxford many years ago and it’s just got better and better with the support from superb staff and Jon Allan who has gone above and beyond to make our day and stay perfect in every single way.

We would just like to thank you all once again for everything you did for us to make our day so special, not just on the day but in the lead up to as well.  You made us feel as though nothing was too much trouble and everything went without a hitch.  Special thanks also to Glen who handled the singing waiters situation so well and calming my Dad down.  Everyone can’t stop talking about it.  We would also like to thank Steven (Night porter) for letting us use the Spa after hours, the perfect end to the perfect day.

We really can’t thank you all enough, words cannot express our appreciation, our day would not have been as amazing as it was without you all.  We are so pleased that we chose Doxford Hall as our Wedding Venue, we cannot recommend you highly enough.  Our guests absolutely loved the day and said the venue was stunning! We would love to do it all over again in a heartbeat!

We hope to see you all soon the next time we visit to reminisce about the most amazing special day of our lives.

We would like to thank Doxford Hall and all their amazing staff for making our wedding day even better than what we could have imagined.

From first looking at the venue, on paper, Doxford Hall met all our “would likes”. When sending queries, the Wedding Coordinators were attentive and responded to all queries promptly.

When we arranged our first viewing, we were unsure what to expect as neither of us had been before, but as we drove into the grounds of Doxford Hall we knew it was a very strong contender for our venue, but as we had our meeting with the Wedding Coordinators and found out more on what was available, we knew Doxford Hall was the perfect venue for us and booked there and then. Dealing with Doxford Hall after booking our wedding was such a pleasure and no query was too much, even when it came to deciding our wedding breakfast menu, dealing with the Head Chef David was enjoyable. He was open to ideas and keen to offer other ideas based on the themes we had described. When we went for the wedding breakfast taster, we were blown away by how amazing all the options were which made making a decision hard.

The weeks running up to the wedding were made less stressful by how supportive the the Wedding Coordinator, Jon Allan, and Receptionist Kelly were. The Day before, Jon Allan, was very helpful and nothing was to much, this meant we could enjoy the run up to the day in the spa and relaxing the evening befor. On the day of the wedding, everything went so smoothly that if there were any issues no one was aware. Having Jon Allan on hand all day was a blessing as he ensured everything ran to time or made slight changes as needed. All our guests have commented on how amazing the wedding was and we believe a big part of that was down to the amazing venue and all the fantastic staff who work at Doxford Hall. Doxford Hall is not just an amazing wedding venue, but an amazing venue for a night or 2 away to relax or just for afternoon tea or a spa day. We can not wait to go back.

“We held our daughter’s wedding here on the 3rd of August and I can’t praise the staff and service we had from the team a Doxford Hall enough, from the check in on Thursday until we left on Saturday we had the most amazing time. Nothing was too much trouble and anything I or any of the wedding party requested was there In minutes.

It is a beautiful hall and is kept immaculate inside the hall and outside in the grounds we had guests at the wedding who had never stayed at Doxford and didn’t know it was there but they were so impressed that they are going to book and go up again.

The food at Doxford is second to none from the breakfast we had to our daughter’s wedding breakfast and also the night time Buffett was first class. I can’t recommend This beautiful place enough. Thank you to all the team at Doxford for making my daughter’s wedding such a magical day for all the family and guests.”

We would highly recommend Doxford Hall as a wedding venue. We genuinely had a beautiful day. Everything went according to plan and without a hitch. The staff were so friendly and helpful and really made me, as the bride, feel special, clapping me and complementing me on how I looked all the way to the doors of the ceremony. We stayed for three days and my husband and I, and our guests, felt like the hotel was ours alone, despite other guests in the hotel. The food was outstanding throughout our stay, especially the wedding breakfast.

We had a wonderful weekend in a beautiful place. Thank you to you and all your wonderful team of staff. Nothing was too much trouble, and the professionalism and attention to detail was outstanding.

We will definitely be coming back to celebrate our anniversary, but we will probably be back before then, as all of our family and friends were so impressed they want to return also.
