MOST COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS. Q: What do I have to wear for a pedicure? A: we always suggest open toe shoes (sandals/ flip-flops), nail varnish can take up to an hour sometimes to dry so avoid wearing sock or shoes that may press down on the toe.
Q: How long does a pamper day last? A: Full day pampers start at 9:30am until 5:30pm. If you have family/home commitments then please inform the spa prior to your pamper day. Half day pampers are either in the morning or the afternoon (9:30am-1:30pm or 1:30pm-5:30pm).
Q: What do I bring for a pamper day? A: The spa provides robes slippers, and towels, during your stay. We ask that you provide your own swimwear, fitness clothing. Flip-flops and additional swimwear are optional. PLEASE DO NOT WEAR HEELED SHOES.
Q: When is the spa open? A: The spa is open daily; treatments are from 10am until 6pm, late nights are available on Thursdays and Fridays only.
Q: What facilities do you have? A: Doxford Hall has a pool, sauna, steam room, two spa baths, a fitness suite which are all exclusive to residents, pamper guest and leisure members only. The spa has 4 treatment rooms with shower facilities in, one dual treatment room, male and female changing facilities, our relaxation room provides our clients with refreshments, these are exclusive to pamper guests only.
Q: Do you offer gift vouchers? A: yes, we can offer gift vouchers for either a monetary value or for a specific treatment, these last for six months from the day of purchase.

SPA INFORMATION AND ADVICE
GIFT VOUCHERS Vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated. vouchers can be purchased as monitory value of for a specific treatment. Gift vouchers for pamper days must be redeemed against the pamper day that has been stated on the voucher. Vouchers cannot be refunded, transferred or redeemed for cash or credit. The life of the voucher cannot under any circumstances be extended.
PAYMENT AND TREATMENT RESERVATIONS We regret that we are unable to provisionally reserve appointment and pamper days over the value of £50, therefore we require a £50 deposit per person or a Doxford Hall gift voucher number on day of booking to secure spa experience.
Any treatment in excess of £50 will require a credit/debit card number to secure the booking. MEDICAL CONCERNS:If you have any medical conditions or concerns about treatments or spa packages please discuss these at time of booking.
CANCELLATIONS All spa packages require a 14 day notice for cancellation in order to receive a full refund. However if you should need to cancel a scheduled appointment less than 48 hours beforehand, you may be charged. We regret all deposits are non-refundable after the required notice.
ARRIVAL Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to a scheduled appointment; if you should be late we will do our utmost to honour your full treatment.
WHAT TO WEAR We provide robes, slippers and towels for your comfort during your spa package around the spa and leisure facilities. Those who are having lunch with our spa packages are asked to wear smart casual clothing while in hotel dining area, for consideration for other guests. We ask you kindly NOT to wear heeled shoes in the Spa.
CHILDREN Treatments cannot be performed under the age of 16, with the exception of adult supervision for manicures and pedicures.
PATCH TEST Clients wishing to have tinting treatments must have a patch test 24 hours prior to their appointment, please call the Spa to arrange this. Failure to do this will result in not performing the treatment.
TREATMENTS All of our treatment times include consultation and after care advice to ensure you receive maximum benefits.
PRODUCTS We do not offer refunds on any products that may have been opened used or tampered with. Should you require a tester of the product prior to purchase please ask a therapist who will kindly help advise you on the products.
