Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere whilst staying in either the Victorian Head Gardener's House or the North Lodge in the grounds of Doxford Hall Hotel, a Grade II listed Georgian Country House in a quiet Northumbrian setting.  The house has recently been transformed into a luxury hotel and spa complete with swimming pool, spa, steam room and sauna open to guests staying in the holiday properties.
 

Both properties are Grade II listed and have been completely refurbished to provide a high standard of comfort.  Ample car parking is available on site and there are facilities for cycles to be stored  safely. The properties have an open fire in the sitting room and are gas centrally heated.  Bed linen and towels are provided.  There is a shared laundry room on site.  Garden tables and chairs are provided for those pleasant summer evenings.  A cot and high chair are available.   The Head Gardener's House sleeps 6 and has three bedrooms, 1 double, and 2 twin bedded rooms.  There is a sitting room with an open fire and a separate dining room.  The dining room and kitchen boast two lovely old stone fireplaces found during refurbishment.  The kitchen has a range of solid oak antique style units with Kirkstone slate work tops, an electric cooker, fridge, dishwasher and microwave oven.  It is a light pleasant house and is surrounded by grassy areas safe for children to play.   The North Lodge sleeps 5 and has three bedrooms, 1 double, 1 twin and 1 single.  There is a very attractively shaped sitting room containing a lovely marble fireplace with a Victorian tiled insert.  The kitchen also has a range of solid oak antique style units, an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave oven.  This is a cosy bungalow which makes it suitable for anyone experiencing difficulty with stairs.
